Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a creative member to join our perfect team to develop outstanding software products. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Creating and incorporating solutions outside the AEC industry.
- Optimization and continuous refinement of code and applications that are already in place.
- Ensuring the application provides optimum quality through quality testing and eradication of bug-related issues.
- Or as integrally involved with developers and designers as well as product managers to make sure that our software effectively meets the customers’ expectations.

The key tasks that you will be performing within our team include the creating of high quality software products and collaborating with different technologies and programming languages. IBM has three categories comprising the product and technology; these are Research, Software, and Infrastructure. Joining this area places you in the center of IBM growth and change, a key corporate driver.
Specified Technical and Professional Competencies
- Existing evidence that he can pick up new technologies fast.
- Internet familiarity with cloud native and enterprise Java technologies including Java Enterprise Edition (jee), Jakarta Enterprise Edition, and MicroProfile.
- Understands Cloud and Cloud Native development end to end.
- Knowledge of microservices.
- Advanced level programming in Java and ability to work with scripting languages of the TypeScript kind.
- Familiarity with XML.
Based on the keys to identification of good employees, the following are crucial for the job; good communication skills, particularly listening skills that help in learning from the customers.
Most Sought Technical and Professional Skills
- Relating to Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Understanding of the DevOps practices that are implemented in agile development.
- Prior exposure to develop enterprise Java application and their deployment.
- Members who have worked in other open source projects.
- Eclipse, VS code, IntelliJ, Git, and GitHub are some of the IDEs and version control systems that candidates need to have the experience in.
- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven and Gradle and its performance.
- Must have good knowledge about Kotlin and Java Swing.
- Familiarity with other tools and pipelines that are used in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment including Tekton, Jenkins, GitHub Actions among others.
- Prior experience working with WebSphere Application Server, Liberty Profile, and Open Liberty Profile.
- Awareness of consist containerization solutions like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good presentation skills.
