Job Description:
Application are now opened for the post of Business Analyst–Data Analyst. In this position, strategic works with business analysts and developers in structuring client processes, creating queries, and improving performance. The work of this position is based on data analysis, data modeling, the usage of ETL tools and applications for data visualization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Profiling: Perform data checking and segregation to guarantee high quality of the collected information.
2. Data Quality Management: Develop lists of Data Quality (DQ) rules and consider the DQ exceptions to be solved too.
3. Data Governance: Ensure that the list of the Critical Data Elements used to populate the Global Financial Crime (GFC) database is contained in the Enterprise Data Governance repository in Collibra.
4. Data Integration: Gain a clear understanding of the data definition, domains and values, relationship and business rules, data sources, and integration specifically for GFC risk assessments.
5. Requirement Translation: Understand business requirements and map these to data models and the designs for ETL processes.
6. ETL Development: Support the flow of data through ETL to improve on processes and fix issues experienced in the neighborhood.
7. Issue Resolution: Report and work on data related problems and engage with other data suppliers for management of the problems.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Possess BE/B Tech/M Tech degree in the relevant field, additionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relational Databases & Data Modeling: Profound knowledge and clear understanding of theories and great practice.
- SQL Skills: Skills in properly coding the SQL queries required in the selection and other cumbersome operations.
- Analytical Skills: Data analysis skills Strengths in profiling and troubleshooting.
- Big Data/Hadoop: Big data platforms and understanding of them.
- Unix & Python: An ability and good working knowledge in Unix shell scripting and the python programming language.
- Data Integration & Conversion: practical exposure.
- ETL Tools: The general knowledge of different ETL tools.
- Autosys: Self-reported technical skills and competencies related to the job such as, Experience with Autosys scheduling tool.
- Data Visualization: Tableau knowledge and any other similar tools that can be used in data analysis.
- Data Modeling Tools: That, exposure to tools such as Power Designer.
